Dec- The South African Qur`aan Union herewith invites you and your family to attend the `Cape Town Qur`aan Festival` that will be taking place at various mosques from 14- 20 December 2009, Insha`Allah.
Qari Abdullah Saeed Anwar, a leading Qur`aan reciter and Qiraa`aat teacher from Pakistan, will be the guest of honour at the event.
The venues are as follows:

Mon 14- Masjidus- Salaam, St Athens Rd After Maghrib
Tues 15- Darul Islam Masjid, Surrey Estate After Maghrib
Wed 16- Masjiduth-Thanie, Rocklands After Maghrib
Thur 17- Masjidul Kareem, Eagle Park After Maghrib
Fri 18- Husami Masjid, Cravenby Jumu`ah
Fri 18- Ahmedi Sunni Masjid, Grassy Park After Maghrib
Sat 19- Masjidul Irshaad, Woodlands After Maghrib
Sun 20- Habibia Soofi Masjid After Maghrib

South African Qur`aan Union are also offering free fulltime Hifdh classes for boys and girls at the Institute of Islamic Sharia Studies, Heideveld. Registrations are now open.

Tareeqay Ar-Rawdhah wash- Shaatibiyyah- Book

This book details the differences found in the tarîq of the Roudah whilst comparing it to the tarîq of the Shâtibiyyah. In doing so, the two most noted and studied texts have been chosen to aid the student in understanding all the differences. These are the poems written by Sheikh Ibrâhîm al-Samannûdî and Sheikh ‘Âmir al-Sayed ‘Uthmân. By memorising or studying these texts, the student will know the differences found in the tarîq of the Roudah.
